The New Omega Constellation’s fashionable designs effortlessly fuse style and technology together. In timeless white: The white Constellation Ladies timepiece with a polished 18 Ct red gold case and a white alligator leather strap is an ideal accessory for any stylish wardrobe. Its dramatic brushed 18 Ct red gold bezel features Roman numerals, are coated with white Super-LumiNova. Shades of black and grey: Adorned with the 34 full-cut diamonds, a black alligator leather strap and a shaded grey dial makes this striking watch a unique creation. The models sashayed on the ramp with the watches on their wrists, the brand ambassadors appeared on the ramp, smiled for the flashbulbs and camera, replied to queries from members of the press like:

“Abhishek when choosing a product to endorse what do you look in it.”

“Sonali what do you think of  Omega’s Constellation?”

“Abhishek what is your family’s favourite watch?”

“Sonali when did you start wearing a Omega?”

“Abhisek do you exchange your Omega with your wife?”

‘Sonali what do you like in the Constellation?”

The Q&A session at the launch held at Taj Hotel in Mumbai ended with Abhishek leaving the stage with Sonali on his arm saying, “Khana Khake Jana.”

Omega which had flown Jean-Claude Monachon, Vice-President Product Development all the way from Switzerland and is the man behind the new Omega products sadly had no question thrown at him though he waited eagerly for one.

Whoever said that when celebrities take the centre stage the product they are endorse takes a back seat said it right. The Omega’s Constellation launch was evident of the same.

For watch lovers, of whom there was handful, wanting to know more about Omega’s future products from Monachon, he had left by the time the cocktails began.

Emblazoned with Diors’s emblematic colours  (red, black, white and purple), equipped with  a  quartz (ETA), self-winding (ETA or Zenith) or hand-wound mechanical (Concepto Tourbillon caliber) movement, Dior Christal watches are as beautiful and immaculate inside as outside. The new Dior Christal  8 Mother of Pearl displays 8 time zones simultaneously. It has Mumbai as one of the 8 time zones. With its Dauphin-style hands and long indexes, in both cases fluted, Zenith’s  Captain harks back unmistakably to vintage timepieces. In homage to the original model, the Zenith El Primero Captain picks up both the spirit and the aestheticism again. A thoroughbred, the chronograph has two large push-pieces on the side. Just as it did fifty years ago, technical and chronometric achievement governed  the development of this collection. The new generation technically surpasses past ones by incorporating a high-performance COSC-certified movement, the legendary El Primero caliber designed in 1969. The movement, with Côtes de Genève decoration, is visible through  a sapphire case back. On the other face, the silver sunbursst dial is surmounted by gold-plated facetted rhodium hands and indexes. The date window is positioned at six o’clock. Three chronograph sub-dials are arranged in a V at the centre, on the lower part of the dial. The watch combines simplicity with a strong identity. Geneva Time Exhibition is pleased to announce the creation of the GTE SUPERWATCH 2011 AWARD, the prize for the independent watch deemed the most distinguished in its conception, avant-gardism and technology.

Reserved exclusively to exhibitors taking part at the GTE, The GTE SUPERWATCH 2011 AWARD will be given to one single watch, after a prestigious and independent jury of six people have judged the nominated watches.
